Sandy Koufax is considered by baseball fans as the greatest left-hand pitcher. In 1972, he was the youngest player ever elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame at age 36. A four-time World Series champion, Koufax pitched for the Dodgers from 1955-1966. He won the Cy Young Award three times and was World Series MVP in 1963 and 1965.
