Leo Durocher was a colorful major league player, manager and coach. He played for the Dodgers from 1938-1941, 1943 and 1945 and managed them from 1939-1946 and 1948. He also coached for the Dodgers from 1961-1964 and was part of the 1963 Dodgers World Championship. In 1994, Durocher was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. The name “Retlaw Yellamo” is Walter O’Malley backwards, while Arthur E. “Red” Patterson was the Dodger Director of Public Relations and Promotions.
