Letter from President George W. Bush to Peter O’Malley

George W. Bush served as 43rd President of the United States from 2001-2009. He was the Governor of Texas from 1995-2000. In 1989, Mr. Bush and a group of investors purchased MLB’s Texas Rangers and he served as managing general partner for five years. He was the guest speaker at the November 4, 2009 Akihiro “Ike” Ikuhara and Peter O’Malley Memorial Sports Management Class at Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan.
