Don Drysdale

I’ve never quite known what the right word was for Walter. Magnetic? Dynamic? He was all of that. We used to talk quite a bit about business things. I’d ask his advice and he was always helpful. He’d never say, ‘This should be your decision,’ but I always came away knowing what it should be. I suppose a lot of people didn’t like him, but I think everyone respected him.
