The Dodgers jump for joy after an improbable four-game World Series sweep over the New York Yankees on October 6, 1963. Sandy Koufax won the clincher, his second victory in the Series over the Bronx Bombers, to complete the sweep over Whitey Ford. It remains the only time in winning six World Championships that the Dodgers have clinched on their home field. |
