Dodger Stadium opens on April 10, 1962, and cartoonist Karl Hubenthal does his impression of all the sights and sounds of the opening of new Dodger Stadium. Hubenthal includes a view of Walter O’Malley in the dugout seats, an innovation first developed in Dodger Stadium that puts the fans at the same level as the players in the dugout.
